About Our Hospital

Kindred Hospital Tarrant County - Fort Worth Southwest is a satellite facility of Kindred Hospital Tarrant County - Arlington. Our hospital is an 80-bed Joint Commission accredited long-term acute care hospital. The facility, which includes six special care unit beds and two medical/surgical units, is licensed as a specialty hospital focusing on acute patients requiring longer than average length of stay.

Services at Kindred Hospital Fort Worth Southwest include ventilator weaning, pre- and post-operative complex wound care, medically complex/multisystem failure management, and inpatient and outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation. The hospital also offers acute rehabilitation services for post-CVA, brain injury, amputation, vascular diseases, pre- and post- renal and liver transplant and speech and language disorders. We also offer dialysis, total parenteral nutrition and antibiotic management.
